After doing some research and reading about the different "tribes" people fall into according to the UK Tribes website, i have decided that my magazine will be aimed at the townies/new casuals.

New Casuals are the type of people who keep up to date with the latest trends and fashions, but also enjoy discovering new artists before they become big.

​

Townies are as mainstream as they come. They go with the flow and enjoy all types of music. They wear whatever is popular, and don't stand out from the crowd.

​

My target audience is 16-24 year olds, who are in to the indie genre of music. At this age, people are trying to find out who they really are, and are experimenting and making bold statements with clothing.

​

The types of artists and bands that will be featured in my magazine are imagine dragons, Coldplay and Arctic monkeys. Solo artists will also be included. These include Tom Odell, Lana Del Rey and Edward Sharpe.
